Gas Watch

Postby TCF Ranger on Thu Oct 23, 2008 5:01 pm

I don't know about other areas but in some I hear gas is finally coming down. This is a good sign with the holidays around the corner and could help others get out and go camping. So I thought it would be a good idea if we could post the gas prices in there area in case some are traveling for a camping trip or for the Holidays.

As of yesterday here in Dallas gas was $2.42 and seems to drop daily....

I paid $2.56 down here on the coast (south of Houston, west of Galveston) a day or two ago.

Its $2.83 here in Bremerton Washington. This price is at a Chevron Station which is a little higher then most other places.
Where do forest rangers go to "get away from it all?"

Dallas area it is just under $2.20 a gallon now. The lowest in the country the other day was in Texas and it was $1.89 What a relief, never thought I would see it below $3 again, much less $2.

It's finally fallen into the $1.80's now. I heard that all projections are for it to remain below 2.80 til after first of year at least. :P

Yea it is in the mid $1.90 here in the Mesquite area. I have not yet seen it dip into the 80s yet except for one place that was $1.87 one day up in Murphy, but it quickly went back up to $1.90.
